10″x10″ encaustic and pigment on cradled board. Part of her microscopic series by Seattle artist Barbara Trentalange. The series reflects on the beauty of things that we cannot see with the unaided eye. After her father was diagnosed with leukemia in 2020, Trentalange turned her focus to the world in which we cannot see and reproduces imagery from the microscopic world to her artwork. This piece is in honor of her dad and his journey to wellness from AML.
